Founded for the development of new drugs, induced mutations, and psionic procedures to illicit extra-dimensional perception and find paths to alter or transcend reality. To this end, they established a headquarters laboratory in Little Vegasia funded by drug sales, guarded by Onyx Institute operatives, and staffed by scientists in disciplines such as:

The Workshop has a financial arm that is connected to Red Bird Rail, called the Workshop Investment Division. It is focused on supporting Red Bird Rail's business economically, investing in the business to allow it to grow. It may also be called on to assist Red Bird Rail more directly, providing members to handle tasks that require a more hands-on interaction.

The Onyx Institute
Sister Organization: Little Vegasia
The Onyx Institute is the fiscal arm of the Cerberus society. Spearheaded by it's more financially savvy members, it exists with one clear resounding purpose. To secure and grow the ill gotten gains of it's investors.
Finding common ground with Little Vegasia, it is often a frequent bedfellow of the financial institution, which it considers to be one of it's largest investors and therefore an interest to be protected.
The Onyx Institute employs the methods of both it's merchant and vagrant faces to secure the property of those who do business with it, and in order to grow such investments it has been known to regularly employ third-party mercenary and mercantile aid.
