Submitting a Good Character History

Being invested in your character and their history is excellent for facilitating good roleplay and by letting our staff take a peek at it, it also ensures that it is within the Dystopia Rising Genre, Universe and free of banned subjects for your local chapter.

Below is a submission form as well as a video and some links to help guide a top notch background story. At the Dystopia Rising Georgia Branch, all characters are and are portrayed age 18 and up. Your character would have an established memory and background of who they survived with, where they are from and have been, as well as key stories to what shaped them into who they are. However, since this is a continuous collaborative story, keep it simple and leave space to learn, grow and adapt.

Below is a list of requirements for submitting a background to make sure that we can ingest it easily and not miss anything.

Use Bullet Points. Submissions in story format are difficult to work with.
Dystopia Rising: Georgia branch only has control over the GA branch setting and home game.
Look at the Character Guidelines, reference the official DR Rulebook and Local Settings/Pollicies before submitting a background.
Keep all groups you create as small as possible.
Brevity and concise bullets increases our ability to add this into our game.

Briefly describe 3 or less significant events in your characters past that shaped them.
