Meet the DR: GA Team!

caryn ‘C’ coyne
(she/her)
Owner, Logistics

Caryn is one of the two brave leaders for the DR: GA chapter, with a specialty in 'data gremlin' and 'fearless but kind leader'. Her focus on community outreach is only overshadowed by her love of road trips and art, with a focus on creating inclusive space for anyone and everyone. Her time outside of DR is spent with her family and chicken companions, when she's not busy creating unique memories for the people she serves.

jonathan schneck
(he/him)
Owner, Experience Design

Jonathan is a creativity driven, formatting enthusiastic, caffeine fueled nightmare given tangibility via a fairly scruffy medium. When he is not having transcendental experiences with the capabilities of google docs, he enjoys working on his digital artwork, gaming, spending time with family, and occasionally bothering the patient souls who bear the mantle of "friend". He is quirky but committed to making DRGA the best it can be!

Roxxy PUTNAM
(SHE/HER)
PLAYER LOGISTICS Director

Roxxy has been attending Dystopia Rising events since 2017, and hasn’t looked back on the hobby since. Her other hobbies are getting tattoos, playing board, card and miniature games, as well as listening to all kinds of music (but mostly just a lot of ska). She is a vocal advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, as well as mental health justice. She hopes to bring her boundless energy and passion to DRGA.

Kevin Kwashnak
(He/him)
Community Director

DR is Kevin's first (and only to date) LARP experience. He found DR while searching his interest in post-apocalypse and zombies, gave LARP a go and found a new hobby. One big thing he's enjoyed is getting to know such a diverse group of people. People that he probably would never have met otherwise. He brings his experience as an attorney to this position: active listening, organization, being able to talk with people, being able to work with others, and a sense of compassion.

Nico Allen
(He/THEY)
Guide TEam Director

Nico (He/They) is originally from Orlando, Florida but has recently made the trek over to Georgia for new opportunities. He has recently joined the LARP community, and it has changed his life for the better. Now the new Director of Guide Logistics, he is ready to help take Georgia to the next level and create a welcoming environment for all.

Ashley Naron
(they/them)
Storytelling Director

Ashley has been LARPing since the Year of Our Void 2013, which means that they have the dubious honor of basically having a doctorate in being a mega nerd. Ashley has been running content at LARPs for an embarrassing amount of time, and in the most ADHD-Type-A-personality way possible oopsied their way into directing the story for DR:Ga. Ashley enjoys making things make sense, which means that they are apparently devoted to the entirely wrong hobby. But nonetheless, they're having a great time.

Robert Reid
(They/Them)
Setting and Rules Director

Robert started larping in 2010 and has helped run LARPs for over 5 years. Having played DR since 2014 they have traveled all over the East Coast visiting different chapters and meeting life long friends within the Dystopia Rising Community. They bring a focus on uplifting players roleplay and props. On ExDe they enjoy creating challenging encounters for players to overcome. Outside of LARP Robert spends their time gaming, hiking, spending time with friends and their pet cat Artemis.
